Why Silverpine

What sets our approach apart.

Our programmes are built around the participant's experience — not a syllabus to be delivered on schedule. Here is how that shapes the work we do.

Singapore-Specific Context

All content reflects the local financial landscape — CPF, MAS guidelines, Singapore tax considerations, and local market instruments are woven throughout.

Small-Group Format

Sessions are kept to a small number of participants, making it possible to tailor discussions, address individual questions, and maintain a genuinely conversational pace.

Practical Planning Tools

Each programme includes workbooks, planning templates, and reference materials designed for use well beyond the final session — not just during class.

Experienced Educators

Our educators bring both academic grounding and real-world experience, translating complex topics into accessible, applicable language without oversimplifying.

No Pressure, No Upselling

Participants come here to learn. There is no product to sell, no follow-on advisory service, and no pressure to act on what is discussed in the classroom.

A Logical Progression

The three programmes form a natural sequence — each builds thoughtfully on the previous level, so participants can progress at their own pace as their needs develop.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Some of the things people commonly ask before joining a programme at Silverpine.

Is any prior financial knowledge required to join?
Personal Finance Foundations is designed with no prerequisites in mind — it is a genuine starting point. Capital Markets Orientation is more appropriate for those who already have a comfortable grasp of personal budgeting and savings basics. Strategic Life Planning works best for those who have completed one of the earlier programmes or have equivalent experience in managing their own finances.
Are sessions held in person or online?
Sessions are held in person at our office at 6 Battery Road, Singapore. We find that the small-group format works best face-to-face, particularly when exercises and discussions are involved. If you have an enquiry about accessibility or scheduling, feel free to contact us directly.
What happens if I miss a session?
We understand that schedules can change. Session materials and notes are shared with participants following each meeting, so a missed session does not mean missing the content entirely. If absences become frequent, a member of our team will reach out to discuss the best way to proceed.
How do payments work?
Full programme fees are payable prior to the first session. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards. For the Strategic Life Planning programme, a staged payment arrangement may be discussed upon enquiry.
Is personal financial information shared or used for advisory purposes?
Silverpine is a financial education provider, not an advisory firm. Any personal financial details shared during sessions are used solely for teaching purposes and are handled in accordance with our privacy policy. We do not offer personalised financial advice, nor do we share participant information with third parties.
When do new programme intakes begin?
New groups for each programme typically begin on a rolling monthly basis, subject to minimum enrolment numbers. If you have a particular start date in mind, mention it in your enquiry and we will do our best to accommodate your timing.
